Jessica’s Early Writing (5)

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday. I have another early writing post with a fun picture to share too! Enjoy 🙂

I’m going to Disney World. I am going on the King King earthquake.

I’m not sure what the King Kong earthquake was, but I did go to Disney World in 1997. I was about 8 years old.

Sorry this is a bit blurry, but you all know my phone situation, haha. I got this blog post idea when I visited my Dad last weekend. He was cleaning out some stuff and found these – I’m guessing the first card was like a ticket to get into the park and the first visit card was something you were supposed to wear.

And here’s little me with Mickey! 😁

I hope you enjoyed this fun look back into my life. Have you ever visited Disney World?

Jessica’s Early Writing (4)

Hi everyone!

It’s been a long week. I’m so glad today is Friday! Today, I have a short, but fun, early writing post! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. 😊

Here’s the entire diagram I made about my pets (as we’ve learned, I enjoyed writing about them)

And here are a couple up close shots for easier reading. I’ll translate (lol) underneath the pictures.

Intro: Hi my name is Jessica and I’m going to tell you about my animals.

What kind of animals?: I have 2 cats, 1 dog, and 2 fish?

What there names are? (What are their names?): One cat’s name is Perdy (Purdy) another cats name is Katdy (Katie). My dogs name is Thunder and my fishs names are Oreo and Jake.

Funny things: One thing that is funny my cat Katdy (Katie) chases my dog Thunder. My cat Katdy always chases Perdy (Purdy) and my fish swim upside down. (They really did swim upside down sometimes.)

Tie up sentens (sentence): If you have animals like me I hope they aren’t as goofy as mine are.

That’s all I have for you today. I havent been on WordPress much this week, so I’ll be spending some time catching up on blogs I’ve missed.

I hope you have a great weekend.

Jessica’s Early Writing (3)

HI everyone!

It’s Monday…ugh. Here’s hoping the week flies by! Another fun post for today – early writing from 1996/97. Enjoy 😊

“I would like to ride bikes just like my cousins.” …my drawing skills were on point. 😂

“I love my mommy and daddy because they are very special. They are always there for me. They take me places.” …dawww.

“At bedtime, my mommy and daddy read a bedtime story.”

“I wish that it was Christmas time.”

“I will always love my cat, Purdy, and my car, Katie, and my dog, Thunder, even if they scratch.”

I’m really enjoying reading these old journals. I hope you’re enjoying these posts as well. I hope you have a great day!

Jessica’s Early Writing (2)

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday. I hope all is well with you. I’m going bowling tonight with coworkers. I suck at bowling, so it should be entertaining. Haha.

Another fun ‘early writing’ post. I found a story I wrote. Enjoy 😊

The Mouse and the Bear

One sunny day, in the beautiful woods, I saw a brown bear named Barry and a gray mouse named Linzy.

Barry didn’t look like he felt too good because he was just laying there on the ground. But, Linzy didn’t know…

…that because she didn’t ask Barry.

All of a sudden, Linzy got on her pogo stick and jumped on Barry’s fat stomach. She started chanting, “lazy bear, lazy bear.”

Then, Barry got mad and swatted Linzy. Linzy fell off Barry’s fat stomach and started crying.

I went over to Linzy and said, “You should go over and say sorry to Barry.” Then I asked Barry to say he was sorry to Linzy for swatting her.

Linzy said sorry and Barry said sorry. They both became friends. They both learned that she should talk to each other before they do…

…something they’ll be sorry for.

That was the last time I ever saw Barry and Linzy again. I hope Barry and Linzy stay friends forever.

I think this was from 4th grade, but I’m not 100% sure. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did. I hope you have a great day. Wish me luck bowling. 😊

Jessica’s Early Writing (1)

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately, it’s Monday. I hope you had a great weekend. A couple weeks ago, I went to my dad’s house to help him clean out some stuff in his basement and I came across some really old journals and school projects. I thought it would be fun to share some of it with you guys. I have a few different things to share, so I will try to post something different once a week until I run out. This journal is from 1997. Enjoy 😊

I’m sad to say, my drawing skills have not improved.

I really enjoyed writing about my cats and dog.

I liked math and gym. That changed, haha.

This picture is an accurate representation of me roller skating. (Note: the stick figure that fell on her back.)

I still think the library is “nete.”

I laughed so hard reading this one.

These last two were together. I loved writing stories.

I hope you find this entertaining. I had a lot of fun going through stuff and I’m looking forward to sharing more. If you’ve ever shared old writing or school assignments, let me know. I hope your Monday flies by. 😊
